Is the Trust app free to download?
Absolutely! All you need to do is head to the Apple Store or Play Store (depending on your smartphone), download it and register. It’s all 100% free!
What does ANPR parking management mean?
ANPR stands for Automatic Number Plate Recognition, which is the system Trust uses to detect when you visit one of the hundreds of Trust sites across the UK.
Can I book a parking spot before arriving at a Trust parking site?
This feature will be coming to the Trust app soon!
Are Trust parking sites suitable for electric cars?
Many Trust parking locations have EV charging stations for drivers; just check with your preferred location in advance to confirm (and keep an eye out for the ability to pre-book showing up in the app!).
Do all car parks use the Trust app?
Sadly, not yet – but we are working on it! It’s already available at over 100 UK sites, and that number is growing every day. Just open the app to find out where our sites are located.
When it comes to payment for parking, how does the app ensure security?
Payments are securely processed using a payment service provider. Trust does not store your card details and the payment service provider processes the transactions using secure payment tokens so your details are never exposed to Trust or the parking site.
Can I conveniently extend my parking session remotely using the app?
There is no need! If you have set up autopay in the Trust app, we’ll calculate the payment amount based on when you drove in and out of the location.
If you don’t have autopay enabled, simply log in and pay for your session via the app before you exit and if you forget, then by midnight on the day of parking, so you don’t need to worry about any additional charges!
What kind of support can I expect if I encounter any issues or need assistance while using the app?

Can I easily access my parking history and receipts through the app?
Following all transactions, an email receipt is sent to the email address set up with your Trust account. Additionally, you can view your parking history in the History tab in the Parking section of the app.
Is the app available in multiple languages or usable in different countries?
Currently, the app is only available in English and only covers the UK.
Can the app help me find parking at specific types of car parks, like airports or shopping centres?
Yes! Just type the name of the place you are looking to in the search bar at the top of the app, or if you’re in the area already, simply hit the ‘nearby’ button.

How much does it cost?
Trust offers three options to our partners/clients:
- Our unique subscription model provides all the parking equipment, servicing and support needed for a fixed monthly subscription with no upfront costs.
- Purchase market-leading parking equipment and enter into a maintenance and hosting agreement with monthly billing
- Purchase market-leading parking equipment and save money on your maintenance and hosting with one annual invoice

How does the Trust subscription model work?
Our unique subscription model removes the high upfront costs and allows our clients to benefit from the latest in parking technology with market-leading equipment, whatever their budget. We charge a monthly subscription covering all equipment, hosting, servicing, maintenance and credit card charges. We can even manage your intercoms.
What is the Trust Hub?
The Trust Hub is a unique intercom service. Our team can manage all customers’ queries, freeing up your team’s time. They sit next to our software support teams so we can quickly escalate any issues! If you don’t need a full intercom answering service, we can support you through overnight management or even the occasional day when you have colleagues off or other priorities.
How can you help with queues at pay stations during busy times?
The Trust app allows your customers to autopay! They simply drive in, park, and then drive out when they’re ready. Our ANPR cameras record their visit, deduct the parking charge directly from their bank account and email them a receipt.
We have lots of issues with our current car park equipment, tickets jams and coin jams mainly, how can you help with this?
- All our systems are ticketless, removing one of the ‘moving parts’ from the traditional car park equipment and reducing waste. Our ANPR cameras record all vehicle registration numbers as they enter; your customers can then add their registration number at the pay station, pay by the Trust app or simply drive out if they are registered for autopay.
- We also offer pay stations that don’t accept cash payments. The use of cash to pay for parking is reducing and, in some car parks, accounts for less than 3% of transactions. By reducing the number of machines that accept cash or removing them altogether, our partners/clients can reduce the ‘moving parts’ which could get jammed dramatically, or even remove them altogether.
